Series overview
The ZJ and ZJL series are the workhorses of the range: single-stage, single-suction cantilever centrifugal slurry pumps built for heavily abrasive duty and high solids concentration. The hydraulic design follows a solid–liquid two-phase velocity-ratio approach, so energy transfer inside the volute stays effective and the pump keeps its efficiency as the wet end wears.
Wetted parts are cast in a high-hardness wear-resistant alloy. The ZJ is the horizontal version used for mill discharge, tailings, concentrate, ash and coal slime; the ZJL is the vertical sump version of the same hydraulic design for pits and sumps where a horizontal pump cannot be installed.
Design features
- Solid–liquid two-phase velocity-ratio hydraulic design for efficient energy transfer in the volute
- High-hardness wear-resistant alloy wet end keeps efficiency as the impeller and liners wear
- Efficiency, NPSH behaviour and service life compare well with other slurry pumps in this class
- ZJL vertical variant for sump and pit installations where floor space or suction conditions rule out a horizontal pump
