Series overview
SP and SPR are vertical sump slurry pumps: the impeller runs submerged while the bearing assembly and drive stay above the liquid. There is no shaft seal to flush and no priming step, which makes them the standard choice for pits, launders and hoppers that fill and empty with the process.
The hydraulic design follows the same solid–liquid two-phase velocity-ratio approach used across the slurry range, with a high-hardness wear-resistant wet end.
Design features
- Solid–liquid two-phase velocity-ratio design, applied to a vertical layout
- Bearing assembly sits above the liquid, so no submerged bearing is needed
- No shaft seal and no priming required
- SPR variant covers the smaller flow range with the same design approach
