Series overview
FSB is built for aggressive chemistry: every wetted part is moulded from a fluoroplastic alloy formulated from PTFE, FEP and related fluoropolymers, so the pump handles acids, alkalis, oxidising agents and other corrosive media at any concentration, without solid particles, from -80 °C to +200 °C.
The lining combines strong corrosion resistance with high mechanical strength, no ageing and no toxic decomposition. Fast-crystallising and hard-crystal media must not be pumped. Applications include chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, pesticide, dye, smelting, paper, electroplating and food plants.
Design features
- All wetted parts moulded from a fluoroplastic alloy of PTFE and FEP compounds
- Strong corrosion resistance with high mechanical strength
- No ageing and no toxic decomposition of the lining
- Compact, reliable and energy efficient
- Designed to eliminate the leaks, drips and seeps typical of older lined pumps
